According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), staff can ask two questions about a service animal when it’s not obvious what service it provides: Anime Tyler, may ask you the following questions:
Is the animal required because of a disability?
What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
Staff can’t ask about the person’s disability, request medical documentation, or ask the animal to demonstrate its abilities. They also can’t require a special identification card or training documentation for the animal.
In Texas, service animals are dogs that are specially trained to help someone with a disability. They must be allowed to go with their owner anywhere that’s open to the public, with a few exceptions. For example, an animal might be excluded if it barks during a movie.
Animals that are NOT service animals should not be brought on the to event space.
If your pet becomes disruptive (e.g., barking, growling), you may be asked to leave the hotel or event space.
